Inconsu is a young spin‑off from VCM and helps municipalities achieve their climate protection goals efficiently and sustainably by reducing buildings’ heating energy consumption with a smart software solution. The software measures, controls and optimizes building energy use by employing smart heating thermostats or window contacts, which are commonly known from the smart‑home sector. These are installed in office buildings, day‑care centers and schools to ensure that heating is only turned on when it’s actually needed. Inconsu aims to advance energy and building management in an innovative way and plans to add AI‑based solutions to its portfolio in the future.

DrinkForFood is the living connection between entrepreneurial action and social impact. We create custom products for any occasion. Primarily, we design custom graduation wine and graduation candles for high‑school graduations, bringing a smile to graduates and their parents while also supporting schoolchildren in Senegal. Since 2021, we’ve donated over 20,000 meals each year to Senegal. Because for every bottle of graduation wine sold, one meal is donated – literally DrinkForFood.

Through the three steps of needs analysis, outdoor learning, and implementation, participants will learn the fundamentals of sustainability and, as a result, gain new collaboration skills.

Psytastic is Germany's biggest app for psychological knowledge. Our two VCM members Christian Heidemeyer and Marcel Katenhusen delight the audience, which has now downloaded the app over 27,000 times, with plenty of facts, blog posts & more around the topic of psychology. How do we support the startups?
We empower students to become entrepreneurs!
As a student initiative for startups, our biggest goal is to inspire and empower students for entrepreneurship. We make that happen through a range of founding‑related projects. These include lecture series, workshops, and founding programs. In addition, we leverage our contacts from the Münster startup ecosystem to connect students and founders. We've been around since 2015, and a lot has happened since then!
