On June 28, Venture Club Münster, after three years, once again hosted Failure Night at the Hive (Alter Fischmarkt 12). As the event title suggests, the focus was on founding experiences, particularly those that initially seem negative.
With Maurice Straube (unlikenay) and Constantin Sanders (eCapital) were two speakers invited who have a lot to share in this area. Failures are completely normal in the startup ecosystem, and the real challenge is learning from these experiences and avoiding future mistakes. Both speakers emphasized that this is easier said than done. Mental health, which can be heavily impacted during setbacks, was also discussed—a factor that must not be overlooked.
After the inspiring talk, the audience had the chance to ask their own questions and get direct advice from Maurice and Constantin. Anyone who still wanted more during the follow‑up Q&A could chat with the two in a relaxed setting over pizza and drinks. Thus, the Failure Night wrapped up for all participants in fine weather on the Hive’s rooftop terrace, where attendees could meet new StartUp enthusiasts and exchange ideas in a laid‑back atmosphere.
