At the end of June, it was that time again: Female Founders Friday is back for its second round. This time it’s all about business development and family.
June 16, 2023. The cozy terrace of POHA House in Münster - a few dozen guests. The relaxed yet motivating energy of entrepreneurship and mutual support filled the air. In this great atmosphere, panelists Leona Turner, founder of Trialflow, and Anna-Marie Ortmeier, owner of the family brand leevje GmbH, talked about their path to self‑employment, their love of routine and extraordinary tasks, inner motivation and future plans. The traditional Q&A session turned into a lively discussion about scaling businesses and the obstacles in every niche.
A little about the companies:
Trialflow is a digital platform aimed at creating a framework for conducting effective clinical trials. Through digital site selection, standardized workflows, and clear communication processes, it facilitates collaboration among all parties involved in clinical studies and speeds up market approval.
Leevje GmbH is a brand for children and the whole family, whose name means "sweetie" or "darling" and says it all. The brand focuses on high quality, timeless design, and complete products that meet the wishes of kids and parents.
After the official part, the evening continued in the same relaxed atmosphere – with tasty snacks from cibaria BioVollkornBäckerei GmbH. Guests were able to get to know each other better, talk personally with the founders, and ask even more questions.
The atmosphere was awesome and charged with entrepreneurial energy! The event’s guests also deserve a big shout‑out. We hope everyone had fun and gained some insights that might inspire them to create something of their own.
We were thrilled to see all of you again!
