On January 20, 2023, it finally happened: the first founder event of VCM specifically for women on the topic of entrepreneurship took place. With Female Founders Friday we brought women together and got them excited about entrepreneurship.
Laura and Charly from Glowkitchen Food presented their product, the vegan organic banana bread that can be bought in supermarkets across Germany. They especially discussed the topic of founding as a woman and working in a team, and shared their personal founding story with us. Also Charlotte Sophie Wehberg, the founder of the Münster-based fashion label Villa Sophie, shared her success story with us.
We were guests at POHA House Münster, which was the perfect venue for the evening, creating a friendly, relaxed atmosphere where other founders and interested women and men could ask all their questions and exchange ideas. A key focus was that women need to support each other even more.
After the official part, we were lucky enough to taste the delicious banana bread from Glowkitchen and, in personal conversations with the founders, everyone interested had the chance to chat and let the evening wind down in a relaxed atmosphere. We hope that all participants had as much fun at the first Female Founders Friday as we did.
